The Bangkok based Institute of Holistic Medicine founded by Doctor Orawan Kitchawengkul has announced that it will open a facility on Koh Samui. Since its inception in 1988 the institute has gained a loyal local and international clientele with its state-of-the-art treatments.

The clinic on Samui will allow visitors to combine a holiday in paradise with the best in procedures and treatment for medical problems such as aging, skin conditions, cancer, mental health and holistic care. The holistic programmes focus on the body, mind and physical problem as a whole and as well as options such as laser surgery deal with lifestyle and emotional well-being.

The Samui branch of the institute will be Thailand’s sixth and will offer the same high standards, technology, equipment and care that have placed the others at the forefront of Thailand’s blossoming health care and cosmetic treatment tourism industry.

Doctor Orawan is a holistic spa pioneer and since the original Doctor Orawan Holistic Institute in 1988 opened its doors 23 years ago it has dealt with an estimated 40,000 patients from all walks of life and from countries throughout the world.

During that time the doctor and the clinics have picked up awards that include a Thai government accreditation as best health and beauty service provider as well as membership of the Thai Dermatological Society and the Thai Laser Medicine and Surgery Society.
