Samui airline cuts fares from Hong Kong

15 Jul 2013

Thai carrier Bangkok Airways is offering a special deal on return fares from Hong Kong to Koh Samui until the end of July. There are a limited amount of tickets available for the bargain price of HK$1,490 (6,000 Baht).

The economy-class fares do not include airport taxes and are valid for travel between the dates of 1 November 2014 and 15 December 2014. The reduced tickets are restricted to flight numbers PG805 and PG806 and allow a maximum seven-day stay on the Thai island.

PG806 departs from Hong Kong at 17:05 and lands at Samui International Airport at 19:20. The return flight from Samui leaves at 11:35 and arrives in Hong Kong at 15:55.

Bangkok Airways owns Samui Airport and is its principal service airline. As well as two daily flights from Hong Kong, the airline flies to Samui from Bangkok, Phuket, Chiang Mai, Kuala Lumpur and Singapore.

The Bangkok Airways service between Bangkok’s Suvarnabhumi Airport and Koh Samui is one of Thailand’s most frequent with up to 20 direct flights in each direction every day. In conjunction with the discounted Hong Kong-Samui fares, the carrier is also offering discounts on other selected routes.

Promotional fares from Bangkok to Chiang Mai, Phuket, Vientiane, Luang Prabang, Phnom Penh and Yangon offer significant reductions on standard ticket prices.
